Interviewed in Khrono news story on state of higher education in Norway

I am interviewed in the Khrono news story "Antall faglige ansatte vokser raskere enn antall studenter" (The number of scientific staff grows faster than the number of students) which was published today, along with Minister of Research and Higher Education, Oddmund Hoel, and Director of the Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir), Sveinung Skule, by journalists Eva Tønnessen and Hege Larsen. The topic of the news story is a new release of an annual report on the state of higher education in Norway.

The number of article accesses is now 3018 (+482 since Wednesday). In terms of Online attention, the article is ranked 411th of the 296,985 tracked articles of a similar age in all journals, and it is ranked 1st of the 191 tracked articles of a similar age in Humanities and Social Sciences Communications.

Their more detailed article metrics says that the article now ranks #21.096 of all articles tracked by Altmetric altogether, which is about 24,8 million articles. This means it is among the 1 in 1000 articles with the most Online attention. In this week´s issue of Bondebladet, there is a news story, "Fortsatt stor avstand mellom produsent og forbruker" (pay wall), covering the panel discussion held during Arendalsuka last week, «Kan norsk landbruk tilby et liv verdt å leve?» The news story includes a paragraph on some of my statements on animal welfare.

Interviewed on whaling by Süddeutsche Zeitung

A feature story in Süddeutsche Zeitung on whaling, titled "Die letzten Jäger" and featuring an interview with me in capacity as Norwegian Green Party politician, was published in no. 167, 2017, Samstag/Sonntag 22./23. Juli. In the article I am referred to as "Tierschutz-Sprecher der Partei" (the animal protection spokesman of the party). The same article appears to have been published also by the Swiss newspaper Der Bund (July 27th), likely also Tagesanzeiger.
