The course is part of the bachelor in psychology as well as the year-long study in psychology. Today´s main topic was political philosophy and specifically political justice.

Today I have given the tenth lecture in Ex.phil. this Autumn, at University of Stavanger´s Department of social studies. The course is part of the bachelor in psychology as well as the year-long study in psychology. Today´s main topic was political philosophy and specifically the legitimacy of the state and form of government.

Twelth and final lecture in Ex.phil.

Today I have given the twelth and final lecture in Ex.Phil. this Autumn, as part of the University of Stavanger´s bachelor degree in psychology. The topic was political philosophy, specifically political justice.

At the end of the lecture I was lucky enough to get flowers from the students, who thanked me for "fantastic lectures".

Eleventh Ex.phil. lecture

Today I have given the eleventh lecture in Ex.Phil. this Autumn, as part of the University of Stavanger´s bachelor degree in psychology. The topic was political philosophy, specifically political freedom. I also brought up aspects of US politics in this regard, as made pertinent by the presidential election results that are all over the news today.

Tenth Ex.phil. lecture

Today I have given the tenth lecture in Ex.Phil. this Autumn, as part of the University of Stavanger´s bachelor degree in psychology. The topic was political philosophy, specifically contractualism and related issues.

6th Ex.phil. seminar; done with teaching this term

Today I have given the 6th and final seminar in Ex.phil. as part of University of Stavanger´s bachelor in psychology at Department of social studies, in two rounds. The topic today was political philosophy, and exam preparations. This completes my teaching this Autumn.

12th Ex.phil. lecture

Today I gave the 12th and final lecture in this Autumn´s Ex.phil. as part of the University of Stavanger´s bachelor in psychology. The topic was justice and fairness in the context of political philosophy.

10th Ex.phil. lecture

Today I gave the 10th Ex.phil. lecture this Autumn, out of 12 in total. The topic was political philosophy and particularly social contract theory.

6 hours of teaching

Today I have taught 6 hours in Ex.phil. at University of Stavanger´s Department of social studies - first the 10th lecture, on contract theory and political freedom, and then the first two rounds of seminar number five, with discussion, repetition and work with Multiple Choice questions.

Lecture

Today I gave the 5th lecture in this autumn´s Examen Philosophicum at Department of social studies. The topic was political freedom.

6 hours of teaching

Today I have taught for 6 hours straight in Examen Philosophicum at Department of social studies. First the fourth lecture, on contractualism (Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau, Kant), and then two seminars.

Tuastad and Tønnessen chapter revised

Today I have finished revising, again, the book chapter by Svein Tuastad and myself on Norwegian family policies seen in light of liberal political philosophy. The chapter will now be submitted to the publisher.

3 hours of teaching - political philosophy

Today I taught for 3 hours in the course "Welfare state and welfare policies", on autonomy and paternalism.

Family policies chapter revised

I have just, in collaboration with Svein Tuastad, finished the 2nd revision, 3rd version, of our book chapter "Familie og fridom. Norsk familiepolitikk i lys av liberal politisk teori" [Family and freedom. Norwegian family policies in light of liberal political theory].

3 hours of Master teaching in political philosophy

Today I taught for 3 hours in the course "Velferdsstaten - politikk og teori" [The welfare state - politics and theory] at University of Stavanger´s Department of social studies. The topics were autonomy and paternalism.

Work meeting

Today I had a writing-focused work meeting with a colleague.
