Yesterday, at the 12th conference of the Nordic Association for Semiotic Studies (NASS XII), I presented my paper "Neurosemiotics across species" (see conference abstract) in the session "Biosemiotics", which I also chaired (there were two more papers, by Kalevi Kull and Amelia Lewis). Some 40 people attended altogether, with a bit more of half of these physically present and the rest attending online.
Later in the evening the conference dinner took place, at the restaurant Grey.
Yesterday I took part in the opening of the 12th conference of the Nordic Association for Semiotic Studies (NASS) at Vilnius University in Vilnius, Lithuania (held November 5-7th, 2021, with the theme "Meaning in perception and the senses"). In the evening, I chaired the General assembly of NASS. I was reelected as President of NASS for a third term (I have served as President since 2017), and as ordinary representative for Norway.
I have been scheduled to present my paper "Neurosemiotics Across Species" on Saturday November 6th at 18.00-18.30 as part of the parallell session (number 8.1) "Umwelt", at the conference NASS XII, the 12th conference of the Nordic Association for Semiotic Studies (NASS), to be held at the Algirdas Julius Greimas Centre for Semiotics and Literary Theory, Faculty of Philology, Vilnius University, Vilnius, Lithuania (November 5-7).
