A meeting, a webinar, and an online book presentation

Today I have attended three digital events/meetings. First a book presentation organised by The Greenhouse, with the authors participating online from Australia. Then the meeting in the research committee of University of Stavanger - where I presented status and plans for Network for welfare research; and raised the question of when we can practically return to organizing (at least partially) physical Ph.D. defences. Lastly I attended a webinar held by the research department at UIS with participation from Research Council of Norway for UIS leadership on EU research funding, particularly ERC.

Two and a half meeting

Today I attended the rector meeting at University of Stavanger (for the second time - standing in for Dean at Faculty of social sciences Gro Ellen Mathisen), the Forskningsutvalget (research committee) meeting, and the first 15 minutes of the Vice-Dean for research meeting chaired by Vice-Rector for Research Merete Vadla Madland.

Today I have attended the Forskingsutvalget (UIS research committee) meeting, a meeting on a cotutelle agreement, and a supervisory support group encounter in the book café.

Two meetings today, then off to Germany

Today I have attended a faculty administration meeting with status report on our accreditation application for the ph.d. program in social sciences, and the research committee meeting (Forskningsutvalget) for University of Stavanger (my second such meeting, and the last with the outgoing rectorate).

Today I participated in an extraordinary meeting of the University of Stavanger´s Research committee (Forskningsutvalget). As a Vice-Dean of Research, my attendance is compulsory, though I am only a deputy member of the committee. The committee is headed by the UiS rector (Marit Boyesen).
