Google Scholar: 483 citations; i10-index 18
According to my Google Scholar profile, my research has by now attracted 483 citations (+7 since June 25th). This includes 35 citations in 2020 (+2). My i10-index is now 18 (+1 since June 25th); my h-index remains 12.

#54,5: How to solve the environmental crisis
The Spring terms last writing day - with some 1.200 words written, and the revision of my article "Anticipating the societal transformation required to solve the environmental crisis in the 21st century" finally finished. Includes thorough treatment of deep ecology vs. ecomodernism. 116 references - possibly the most in any of my articles so far. One of the longest also (more than 19.000 words).
July ended up being the month this Spring (sic) with the most words written - 9.246 words, vs. 7.455 in June and 7.414 in January (top 3). Altogether 45.161 words written (academic texts) in the Spring term.
54,5 writing days is also a record, compared to the last few previous years.
And now: Summer holidays.

Impaft factors for Springers journals in Evolutionary & Developmental Biology
The 2019 Impact factor of Biosemiotics (1.021) is mentioned on Springer´s presentation of the latest impact factors for its journals within Evolutionary & Developmental Biology. Among 12 journals, Biosemiotics ranks as #10. Journal of Mammalian Evolution is #1 with an Impact factor of 2.500.
The 5-year Impact Factor of biosemiotics is 1.331 (2019).

Steffens conference in Copenhagen postponed until 2021
I have been informed that the conference «“…just as alluring as instructive…” – Henrik Steffens’ Concept of Nature in Science, Humanities and Arts around 1800», to be held at University of Copenhagen, has been postponed from October this year to October 2021 (specifically october 7-8th). I am an invited speaker for the event.

Half writing day - eco-crisis; wolf socialization
Today I have had half an article writing day devoted to revising "Anticipating the societal transformation required to solve the environmental crisis in the 21st century" and planning for finishing the article "Socialization of captive wolves improves animal welfare and expands behavioral repertoire" with Laura Kiiroja. Some 400 words written. Total number of writing days in Spring is up to 47.
Statement on Wildlife Act submitted to ministries
I have just submitted a written statement on behalf of Norway´s Council for animal ethics to Ministry of Agriculture and Food and Ministry of Climate and Environment in relation to a planned revision of the Norwegian Wildlife Act (Viltloven).
