Recently I have updated the webpage of the Norwegian Animal Ethics Conference with the first info on this year´s conference, which takes place November 23rd in Oslo.

This weekend I updated the webpage of Dyreetikkonferansen, the Norwegian animal ethics conference, with info on this year´s conference (December 4th, Oslo). I also updated the video subpage, with links to videos of last year´s conference.

"Animals in the Anthropocene" conference: Keynote abstracts now online

The webpage for the international 17-19 September University of Stavanger conference "Animals in the Anthropocene: Human-animal relations in a changing semiosphere" has been updated with the abstracts of the keynote speakers and invited speaker (altogether seven abstracts), in both its English and Norwegian version. 

"Animals in changing environments" updates online

The webpage of  the Norwegian research group of the project "Animals in Changing Environments: Cultural mediation and semiotic analysis" (EMP151) was updated June 29th, with further updates/publications June 2nd. These included a news story on the project´s 3rd Norwegian research seminar (see also Norwegian version, for the UiS employees). 

NASS webpage updated

Today I have updated the webpage of the Nordic Association for Semiotic Studies (NASS). The updates include the 6th newsletter of NASS (Autumn 2014), and the 2nd Call for papers for NASS IX (Tartu, 17-20 August 2015 - abstract deadline March 2nd) - with a link to the eight accepted session topics.

"Animals in the Anthropocene" conference webpage updated and expanded

Today I have updated the conference webpage of "Animals in the Anthropocene: Human-animal relations in a changing semiosphere" (both Norwegian and English version). Among several additions, I have established/published subpages for Registration (also in Norwegian) and Practical information (also in Norwegian).

NASS webpage updated

In my capacity as webmaster of the Nordic Association for Semiotic Studies (NASS) I have just updated the NASS webpage with recent info on NASS IX, which is to take place in Tartu next summer.

"Animals in changing environments" webpage restructured, updated

Both the English and Norwegian language version of the Norwegian webpage of the research project "Animals in changing environments: Cultural mediation and semiotic analysis" (EMP151) have been slightly restructured/updated (involving the categories conference and research seminars). Several updates on activities already carried out are still to come.

Reelected chair of Minding Animals Norway

At the Annual Meeting of Minding Animals Norway in Oslo on September 5th I was reelected as chair of Minding Animals Norway. Ida Knutsen was elected Webmaster, and Gunnar Kornberg member of the board.

The statutes was simultaneously changed so that board members are from now on just elected for 1-year periods, not 2-year periods.

Animals in changing environments homepages updated

I have updated the Norwegian homepage of the research project "Animals in changing environments: Cultural mediation and semiotic analysis", in both its English and Norwegian language versions. Sections updated include Researchers and Publications.

Minding Animals homepage updated with banner linking to fish happiness conference

I've updated the top banner on the homepage of Minding Animals Norway so that it now links to this year's Norwegian Animals Ethics Conference (Trondheim August 20th).
