Today I have had what ended up as half an article writing day, with some 350 words including a table added to the refugee-themed article I am co-writing with Maren Sagvaag Retland, which is work-titled "The rights and living conditions of unaccompanied minor migrants in the Schengen Area". This brings the number of writing days so far this Spring up to 8, including 5 article writing days.

Workshop on welfare and migration chaired; two more events
Yesterday, January 28th, I chaired the second workshop of the University of Stavanger´s Network for welfare research, which took place at 9 to 12.30 at Kjell Arholms hus, with the theme "Velferd og migration" (Welfare and migration). Some 60 people attended. The programme included a lecture by Thomas Hylland Eriksen (UIO), talks by Hildegunn Fandrem and Elisabeth Enoksen (both UIS) and group work organised around five non-governmental and governmental organizations.
I also attended the university´s open meeting on strategy, with rector Klaus Mohn, and had a meeting with a colleague.

Third lecture, song at gallery
Yesterday I gave the third and final lecture at Sølvberget galleri in connection with Eli Glader´s video art exhibition "Vitner". The lecture was titled "Vi er alle migranter - Flukt som menneskets situasjon", and attended by 18 people. Ahead of the lecture, "Herfra til ingensteder" by my musical alias The Schopenhauer Experience was played.
