Explanations of grading

Today I have written a couple of explanations of grading in the University of Stavanger´s master course in environmental psychology (MPS180).

3 hours of condensed teaching in environmental psychology master course

Today I have given two one-hour lectures and a one-hour seminar digitally in the environmental psychology master course (MPS180) that is part of University of Stavanger´s master degree in psychology. The lectures (which were originally scheduled as two hours each) and seminar was earlier cancelled due to sickness. The topics were ecological psychology with emphasis on affordances, and lifeworld perspectives on human and animal perception and behaviour.

This concludes my teaching this Spring term.

Seminar on how to solve the climate crisis given in environmental psychology course

Today I have given the seminar "Hvordan løse klimakrisen?" (How to solve the climate crisis) in the environmental psychology course that is part of the University of Stavanger´s master programme in psychology. About 10 students attended online.

First lecture given in environmental psychology course

Today I have given a lecture in environmental psychology as part of University of Stavanger´s master in psychology, on the topic climate crisis and psychology.

11 plus 3 explanations for grading given

Today, on my last work day before summer holidays, and on my way back from the ISQOLS 2024 conference in Malaysia, I have given explanation for grading to 11 students in the bachelor course in law and ethics I have been involved in, and to 3 students in the master course in environmental psychology.

8 environmental psychology papers graded

I have recently graded 8 exam papers in the University of Stavanger´s master course in environmental psychology.

Third lecture in environmental psychology

Today I gave my third lecture in the master of psychology course "Miljøpsykologi" (environmental psychology), on the topic «Dyrs og menneskers livsverdener» (The lifeworlds of animals and humans), focused on the Umwelt theory of Jakob von Uexküll.

Lecture on the climate crisis and psychology given

Today I have given a lecture on the climate crisis and psychology in the University of Stavanger´s master course on environmental psychology (MPS180), as part of master in psychology. About 15 people attended.

A meeting

Today we have had this Autumn's first department council meeting, and the second such meeting this year. Among other things, we discussed internationalisation and our master in psychology (in development).

2 meetings and work day turned upside-down

Today I have attended two scheduled meetings and turned my work day upside-down, with writing time in the evening rather than in the morning (I usually have writing day at daytime on Fridays).

Today I have had 3 scheduled meetings. This included a work group meeting in relation to our development of a master in psychology.

5 meetings

Today I have had 5 scheduled meetings from my home office. This included my weekly meeting with the office manager, and a meeting in relation to development of a master in psychology.

4 meetings

Today I have attended 4 scheduled meetings, including the autumn´s third department leadership group meeting and a meeting related to establishment of a master in psychology.

2 meetings, a supervision session, and a master degree development online seminar

Today I have attended two scheduled meetings, had a ph.d. co-supervision session, and chaired an online seminar for people involved in the development of our master degree in psychology.

4 meetings

Today I have attended 4 meetings, which filled my work day from 8.45 to 15. This included a budget meeting, a work group meeting on our development of a master in psychology, and the third steering group meeting related to our development of a candidate of psychology study (profesjonsstudium).

3 meetings, a presentation of Cognitive lab at the rector´s meeting, and an oral exam

Today I have taken part in 3 meetings, including my weekly meeting with the office manager and the work group meeting on a master in psychology.

I also presented Cognitive lab, along with Kolbjørn Brønnick, at the rector´s meeting, with some 20 people in leadership positions attending.

And, I also served as external examiner at an oral exam at Centre for development and the environment (SUM) at University of Oslo at a Master thesis defense.

3 meetings and a work lunch

Today I have attended 3 meetings and a work lunch. This included a work group meeting on our plans for a master degree in psychology, and a board meeting in the Nordic association for semiotic studies.
