The short communication "Biosemiotic Achievement Award for the Year 2022", which I co-wrote with Ludmila Lackova and Ahti-Veikko Juhani Pietarinen, has appeared in issue 3, 2023 of Biosemiotics, 16(3).

The brief article "Biosemiotic Achievement Award for the Year 2022", which I have co-written with Ludmila Lackova and Anti-Veikko Juhani Pietarinen, has been accepted for publication in Biosemiotics.

Two meetings including ECIU communication network meeting

Today I have attended a 1-hour short meeting of the faculty leadership group, and a 2-hour ECIU communication network meeting online (the first of its kind) with collaborators of the university internationally. At the latter network meeting I briefly introduced biosemiotics in the relation of communication studies.

Invited to guest-edit SI of Zeitschrift für Semiotik on biosemiotic ethics

I have been invited to guest-edit a special issue of Zeitschrift für Semiotik on biosemiotic ethics. Jonathan Beever has agreed to be a co-editor. However, I have not heard back from the editors of Zeitschrift für Semiotik since I was invited more than a month back.
