Today I have had a book writing day, with some 100 words net deleted from my scientific monograph Carbon Capture and the Future of Environmentalism, which is forthcoming with Bloomsbury Academic. I also spent time organizing in excess of 200 items of researched material, and revising writing plans for the next few weeks. This brings the number of writing days so far this Spring up to 40,5, including 16 book writing days.

Today I have had half a book writing day, focussed on my book manuscript in spe Being and Sign, with some 300 words added to the text. This was writing day #45,5 this Autumn (starting July 1st), with a total of 31,5 of the writing days devoted to book writing to date.

I also added to my preliminary plans for book writing over the next decade, with prospective titles including Global Species and The Natural History of the Phenomenal World.

#59,5 - extended due date for Captured

Over the two last days I have had what ended up as half a book writing day altogether (initially I planned half a writing day each of the days), with some 100 words written on my scientific monograph Captured: CCS and the fight for the soul of the environmental movement. Importantly, I concluded, during a sleepless night, that I would not be able to finish the full draft manuscript this week, but will need the next month to complete the writing. Over these two days I have communicated to the publisher that I will only be able to finish the manuscript and related materials by June 30th (versus June 1st as contracted), due to three rounds of hospitalization and sick leave over the last six months, although 90% of the text has been written. I have further reworked and made room for my writing plans for June, and rearranged some of my holiday plans for this summer. 

So far this Spring I have had 59,5 writing days, including 52 book writing days.

Prioritized writing plan for Spring 2024, including writing days devoted to book writing

Today I have finished my Prioritized writing plan for Spring 2024, with plans for 47,5 writing days. This is somewhat less than last year (Spring 2023). I have tried to account for likely or possible travels in late Spring, and plan to devote an estimated 8 writing days for the book format (specifically, devoted to work with my book project Captured: CCS and the fight for the soul of the environmental movement). This will mean that I have less time for article and chapter writing. If I am to finish that project over the course of the next one and a half year, I will have to devote even more of my writing time to this purpuse in the Autumn and next Spring.

Autumn plans including writing plans

I have made calendar plans for writing this autumn, with 35,5 writing days scheduled as of now, including 3 now in July. Also this Autumn, I plan to present at 6 conferences (including 1 digitally and 1 locally, 4 abroad), and I will give a full course.

Today I have had what ended up as only half a writing day, with some re-planning done for writing plans before the Summer, and some readings done related to our article on Arne Næss and his views on economics.

Today I have had half an article day, with some plans made for November and some 600 words composed on my parts of the Human agency chapter for Semiotic agency.

 Today I have had half an article writing day, devoted to planning for the remainder of the autumn semester, including journal articles, book chapters and the co-writing of the book Semiotic Agency: Science beyond mechanism (first author Alexei Sharov). I also wrote some 50 words on my book chapter "Neurosemiotics across species".

Half article day; writing plans for the autumn

Today I have had half an article day, devoted to planning for the autumn and finishing the disposition of my neurosemiotics chapter (in the process I coined the term "neurosemiotic agency"), with some 100 words written. Total number of article days in autumn is up to 4,5.

For the autumn as a whole, I have initially planned to have 38,5 article writing days. In comparison, in the autumn of 2019 I completed 32 article writing days (vs. 36 planned initially). This Spring I completed 54,5 article writing days (vs. 53 planned initially).

Half a writing day today, devoted to planning for June, July and August and some pondering and a tiny bit of writing (about 100 words).

Number of writing days in 2020 is up to 38,5.

Spring´s twelfth and thirteenth article writing day; writing plans

This week I have had two writing days, one on Wednesday 15th and another one on Thursday the 16th of May. Both have been quite brief - but I went on writing Thursday evening and am also doing some article writing work today. I am working on completing my book chapter "The true value of "doing well" economically", and have also looked over my articles just published in Journal of Comparative Social Work.

Lately and today I have also rescheduled some of my near-future writing plans and plans for the autumn.
