Today I have attended the first faculty leadership group meeting in a long time - the last before the summer - and 4 employee appraisals (total this week 11, total to date 63).

Today I have watched half a webinar and attended 2 scheduled meetings, including the first meeting this year of Norway´s Council for animal ethics (digital attendance).

2 meetings and a seminar

Today I have attended 2 scheduled meetings. This included a work meeting devoted to working out program for a 2-day bachelor gathering at the department. Today I also follow a welfare seminar by Network for welfare research digitally.

A meeting and a Fagforum

Today I have attended the weekly faculty leadership group meeting, and chaired the Autumn´s fourth and last Fagforum at the department, featuring Christian Børge Sørensen.

Today I have attended my last faculty leadership group meeting as Vice-Dean of research, chaired my last meeting as head of the ph.d. committee, and attended a research administration meeting.

One and a half meeting and a guest lecture

Today I have attended the faculty leadership meeting at Faculty of social studies, attended the first half of the meeting of Norway´s Council for animal ethics, and given a guest lecture at Department of early education and sports science (IGIS), in a master course on KRLE. The topic of my guest lecture was "Miljøetikk" (environmental ethics - and more). Some 25 people attended.

All events were digital.

Today I have attended three meetings - the faculty leadership group meeting, a meeting related to the ph.d. programme in social sciences, and a planning meeting related to my upcoming sick leave.

Today I attended the weekly faculty leadership group meeting at Faculty of social sciences. The main topic for discussion was a system for distribution of ph.d.s and post.docs.

Yesterday, Thursday, I attended the Faculty of social sciences´ leadership group meeting digitally from Oslo. The topic for discussion was a "distribution key" for phd. and post.doc. positions at the faculty, which I drafted the day before.

Today I have attended the faculty leadership group meeting, the staff meeting at Department of social studies, a new routinely research administration meeting, and an Editor-in-Chief meeting with our Springer editorial contact addressing strategy and recruitment for the journal Biosemiotics.

Two meetings; and ISQOLS conference presentation on wasted growth

Today I have attended the weekly faculty leadership group meeting, and a planning meeting related to Cognitive lab.

I also presented my paper "Wasted and wasteful growth in the USA" at the virtual ISQOLS 2020 conference, 2020 International Society for Quality-of-Life Studies 18th Annual Conference (August 25-28), as part of the session "Growth, Poverty and Well-being". Some 15 people attended live. The session is also available for conference attendants as a recording.
