Two meetings - Network for gender research renamed Centre for gender studies

Today I have attended a meeting of the Faculty of social sciences´ appointments committee (arriving late due to a late bus), and chaired the board meeting of the university´s Network for gender research, which has now been renamed Centre for gender studies (Senter for kjønnsstudier - see Norwegian language news story from the UIS intranet).

Today I have attended the faculty leadership group meeting, chaired a meeting in the faculty´s Doctoral committee (my third), attended a meeting in preparation of another meeting I´ll chair tomorrow, and supervised a MA student.

Today I have attended half a meeting concerning the establishment of a network for welfare research, plus the New Year reception of University of Stavanger´s Network for gender research, for which I am now chair of the board in my new capacity as Vice-Dean of research.
