Link to conference homepage, Facebook event page for Dyreetikkonferansen 2020

Dyreetikkonferansen 2020 will take place digitally on September 24th, with the theme "Velferd i isolasjonens tid: Isolasjon som løsning på helseutfordringer for mennesker og dyr?" (Welfare in the time of isolation: Isolation as solution on health challenges for humans and animals). See conference webpage, or the Facebook event page.

More on Næss lecture during Forskningsdagene

The Kunnskapstørst event September 19th is referred to on the intranet of University of Stavanger in an overview over Forskningsdagene (research days) events locally. There´s now also a Facebook event for my public lecture on Arne Næss (see also previous post).

Facebook event for Norwegian Animal Ethics Conference 2018

Here´s the Facebook event for Dyreetikkonferansen 2018, "Hvor like er mennesker og dyr?" (the Norwegian Animal Ethics Conference 2018, "How similar are humans and animals?"). For the seventh year, I am one of the organizers, now representing both Council for animal ethics and Minding Animals Norway.

Facebook event launched for CODA dance festival seminar

Next Wednesday, October 21st, I´ll participate at a seminar (in Norwegian) called "Hva er galt med naturen?" [What´s wrong with nature?], at Bærum kulturhus (see post below). A Facebook event has now been launched by Bærum Kulturhus.

Facebook ad campaign for panel on the Anthropocene

Last week I set up a Facebook ad campaign for an event under the Norwegian language Facebook page for the Norwegian research group of the Estonian-Norwegian research project "Animals in changing environments: Cultural mediation and semiotic analysis". The event concerned a panel on the Anthropocene idea, which was held Friday September 18th as part of the conference "Animals in the Anthropocene: Human–animal relations in a changing semiosphere". The Facebook ad campaign, targeted at the Stavanger region, turned out to reach much fewer than anticipated.
