#48

Today I have had what (following geopolitical intrigues involving the state of Florida) ended up with half an article writing day, with some 600 words added to the environmental semiotics chapter I am co-writing with Jonathan Beever. This was writing day #48 this Autumn (starting July 1st), with a total of 16,5 of the writing days devoted to article writing to date.

AHAWELL submitted to RCN/FRIPRO

Today I have submitted the final version of my research application "Assessing human and animal welfare in the Anthropocene" (AHAWELL) to Research Council of Norway´s FRIPRO scheme. The resulting PDF is 56 pages long (of which project description 10 pages). I apply for 11,999 million NOK, with a total budget of 15,76 million NOK including own financing (mostly of 1 PhD). The project would involve 35% of my work time for 5 years (2020-2024), 2 PhDs and 2 PostDocs, as well as the involvement of five researchers from Tartu University, University of Central Florida, Universidad de Lisboa and BI business school.
