Today I have had 2 employee appraisals (total to date: 46), chaired the third department council meeting this Spring, and attended part of a webinar for prospective MSCA PF supervisors.

Post.doc. project review done

I have recently reviewed a post.doc. project application for the Estonian Research Council.

Jesper Lundsfryd has been accepted to the University of Stavanger MSCA PF Support Program 2021, with me involved as prospective mentor/supervisor in relation to his post.doc. application.

UIS has asked Ministry of Education for ph.d.s and post.doc.s for Cognitive Lab; UIS news story

The UIS news story "UIS ønsker flere studieplasser og rekrutteringsstillinger" (University of Stavanger wants more study places and recruitment positions) makes mention of the Cognitive Lab I have suggested to establish at the university, following our faculty´s visit to University of Twente last autumn. The university has communicated to the Ministry of Education and Research that a number of recruitment positions (ph.d. and post.doc.s) could be established this autumn in relation to the establishment of such a lab. The proposal has been made in relation to Norway´s revised state budget for 2020.

Call for candidates for MSCA IF 2020

Interested in coming to University of Stavanger to do a Post.Doc. under supervison by me or one of the other Greenhouse members? Info about application procedure etc. here. Statements of interests (which is only the first step in the process) are due February 28th.

UiB Post.Doc. application withdrawn

Since I have signed a contract with University of Stavanger for a permanent position as Associate professor of philosophy, I have now withdrawn my University of Bergen Post.Doc. application.
