Blog stats 2024: 10.000+ visits

In 2024, my English language blog Utopian Realism and my Norwegian blog Utopisk Realisme had 6.665 and 4.071 page loads respectively and 10.736 altogether. For both blogs this is the highest for several years - though not an all-time high. Visits to Utopian Realism almost doubled from 2023, whereas visits to Utopisk Realisme increased more than 5-fold (although I don´t post much in that blog anymore). All-time accummulated number of page loads is at about 50.000 for each of the blogs and 104.520 page loads altogether.

The vast majority of the 10.669 unique visitors (6.609 for Utopian Realism and 4.060 for Utopisk Realisme) were First time visitors.

In 2020 I made 425 posts in this academic (b)log, Utopian Realism. This is about on the average of the past 7 years.

This blog, Utopian Realism, had a total of 3.332 pageloads (+719 from 2018) in 2019, and 2.989 unique visitors (+825), according to Statcounter. All-time totals: 49.513 pageloads, 35.346 unique visitors, 3.192 returning visitors.

According to Statcounter, in 2017 this blog, Utopian Realism, had 3.918 pageloads (-94) and 3.140 (-216) unique visitors, of which 2.723 (-481) were first time visitors and 417 (+264) returning visitors. All-time numbers: 43.524 pageloads, 30.150 unique visitors, of which 27.296 one-time visitors and 2.854 returning visitors.

Visitor statistics for Utopian Realism

This blog, Utopian Realism, had 4.685 pageloads in 2015. This is down 34% from 2014 (and lower than in 2012 and 2013). There were 3.004 unique visitors (down 36%), of which 407 were returning visitors (up 19%).

2013 was likely the first year where this blog, Utopian Realism, was my most visited blog, overtaking my Norwegian language blog Utopisk Realisme. As the numbers show, however, this is due to a sharp decrease in visits to Utopisk Realisme rather than to the small increase in visits to Utopian Realism. Combined the four blogs mentioned above had 10.941 pageloads, which is 5-6.000 fewer than in 2012.
