Today I have given the second lecture this semester in Ex.phil. at the University of Stavanger´s Department of psychology (SVEXPHIL-IP) for bachelor and one-year students in psychology. The topic was epistemology and introduction to critical thinking.

Today I have assessed 20 submitted compulsory assignments in Ex.phil. for a second time (that is, I assessed revised versions). Moreover, I assessed three extra assignments related to insufficient compulsory presence at seminars. The assignments are considered as pass/fail.

Today´s topics were Hume´s ethics and normative ethics, specifically utilitarianism and Kant´s duty ethics.

Today´s topics included types of knowledge and good sources, with Anne Beth Våga contributing on the latter.

Today´s topic was theory of science, with emphasis on Popper and Kuhn, and the classification of psychology.

Lecture on publication ethics etc. given in psychology bachelor thesis course

Today I gave a lecture in the bachelor thesis course (BPSBAC) in the bachelor in psychology at University of Stavanger´s Department of social studies, covering selected topics in applied ethics, focused on publication ethics and, secondarily, privacy issues etc. related to involvement of participants in student projects.
