Biosemiotic Achievement Award winner announced at ISBS General Meeting in Moscow

Thursday July 4th, at Moscow State University, I took part in announcing the winner of the 2018 Biosemiotic Achievement Award, along with Selection Committee member Riin Magnus, during the General Meeting of the International Society for Biosemiotic Studies. The 2018 winner is Mirko Cerrone, for his paper "Umwelt and ape language experiments: On the role of iconicity in the human-ape pidgin language" (published in Biosemiotics 11(1) (2018)).
